Deputy Programme Manager - National Audit of Dementia (until 31 December 2027)

Deputy Programme Manager – National Audit of Eating Disorders (until 31 July 2027)

THE ROLES

We have exciting opportunities for two dynamic and proactive individuals to join RCPsych as Deputy Programme Managers – one will be working for the National Audit of Dementia (NAD), and another will be working for the National Audit of Eating Disorders (NAED). These are great opportunities to assist the Programme Managers in each of these networks in setting up and managing an exciting new audit programme using innovative methodologies to support services for people with eating disorders.

Our exciting programmes of NHS-funded national clinical audits are part of the College Centre for Quality Improvement. The National Audit of Eating Disorders is a new audit which will provide important data to drive forward improvements in care for people with eating disorders.

The National Audit of Dementia works within two healthcare settings, general hospitals and memory services, to improve the quality of care provided for people living with dementia.

The successful candidates will have experience in project management and quality improvement in healthcare and/or clinical audit, and research and will have a keen interest in data analytics. They will line manage staff, develop and deliver project plans and support the Programme Manager of their network in delivering all aspects of the project, including developing sampling methods and producing national reports. Excellent organisational, report writing, interpersonal and communication skills are required, as well as excellent attention to detail. Responsibilities include: overseeing project plans; supervising staff; designing data collection tools; collecting and analysing data; writing reports; organising events.

The successful candidates will be required to undertake DBS checks.
