PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: Up to £55,000 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Join the dynamic Brands & Licensing finance team and play a pivotal role in supporting two of our most exciting businesses: Radio & Music and Live Events. As a Royalties Finance Analyst, you’ll deliver high‑quality financial insight, strengthen operational processes, and help drive informed decision‑making across the organisation. Your work will directly support creative and commercial success across some of our most high‑profile output.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
- Ensure accurate and timely royalty billing, including rigorous review of royalty statements and oversight of finance operational processes.
- Reconcile accounts and support complete, accurate reporting of revenue and pay‑away calculations across internal and outsourced teams.
- Assist with forecasting, budgeting and month‑end reporting, ensuring variances are understood and communicated clearly.
- Analyse tour and event costs, audit ticket sales and royalty reporting, and challenge external statements where required.
- Deliver high‑quality financial and operational analysis, identifying efficiencies, supporting business reviews, and influencing commercial decisions.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience reviewing, challenging and auditing company royalty statements.
- Strong background in delivering high‑quality accounting and reporting services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insight for non‑finance audiences.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
- Experience analysing tour or event costs and auditing ticket sale and royalty reporting.
- Knowledge of licensing, music, or live events revenue streams.
- Experience working with outsourced finance teams or shared service environments.
- Familiarity with financial systems and tools used for royalty or rights management.
- Demonstrated ability to identify process improvements and drive operational efficiencies.
