Description and Requirements
Lenovo is looking for an early-career AI builder or infrastructure engineer to join its Enterprise AI team.
The role offers the opportunity to work closely with Intel, leading global technology providers, AI software companies, cloud partners and some of Europe’s largest enterprise customers to design, deploy and validate practical AI solutions on Lenovo infrastructure.
This is a hands-on role combining AI engineering, infrastructure deployment, European customer engagement and technical problem-solving, with a clear development path into Enterprise AI solution architecture.
Key Responsibilities
· Deploy and validate AI inference, RAG, agentic AI and edge AI solutions on Intel-based Lenovo platforms.
· Work directly with European customers and partners to understand requirements, integrate solutions and resolve technical challenges.
· Run proofs of concept, demonstrations and performance benchmarks in Lenovo’s ISG European Innovation Center and European customer environments.
· Configure and troubleshoot Linux, container and AI software environments.
· Work with Intel technologies, including Xeon, Core, AMX, TDX, OpenVINO and Intel AI software libraries.
· Support Lenovo Validated Designs, reference architectures and reusable deployment blueprints.
· Collaborate with Intel, global technology suppliers, AI ISVs, cloud providers and Lenovo sales and pre-sales teams.
· Translate technical findings and European customer feedback into clear recommendations and reusable solutions.
· Support European customer workshops, technical briefings, partner enablement, training sessions and industry events.
· Travel within Europe when required to support strategic customer engagements.
Candidate Profile
· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, Data Science or a related technical field.
· One to two years of experience in AI engineering, infrastructure, MLOps, DevOps, research engineering or system administration.
· Hands-on experience with Linux, Python and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift or similar platforms.
· Experience deploying, integrating, operating or troubleshooting AI models, inference workloads, RAG solutions or AI applications.
· Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
· Interest in developing into a European customer-facing technical role.
· Ability to work effectively across technical, commercial and partner teams.
· Curiosity, initiative and a strong willingness to learn new AI and infrastructure technologies.
Experience with OpenVINO, Intel platforms, model optimization, performance benchmarking, AI infrastructure is beneficial but not required.
