About the role

We are seeking an individual to undertake the role of Management Accounts Officer, on a 1-year fixed-term contract, within our busy Finance team. The post holder plays a key role in supporting the production and delivery of accurate and timely management accounts and information, to budget holders, for decision-making.

This role combines data analysis and routine financial transactional administration, such as processing journals, supporting accruals and prepayments, to help maintain accurate financial records and support data integrity.

The role requires regular communication with budget holders and other departments, answering queries, providing guidance and preparing reports.

The post-holder will help contribute to the annual budget-setting process and forecasting throughout the Financial Year, to ensure proper use of University resources.
