WHY JOIN THE TEAM?

The BBC Proms is the biggest classical music festival in the world. We run over 100 live events over 2 months in the summer at the Royal Albert Hall in London and venues across the UK. Nearly everything we do is broadcast across BBC Radio, TV and online. We are a creative, innovative festival that connects with audiences around the UK and across the globe. In any single week at the BBC Proms you could be working on events as wide-ranging as the First and Last Nights of the Proms, family events such as the Horrible Science – Big Bang Prom, the Miles Davis Centenary, collaborations with a world-class visiting orchestra or for the BBC Orchestras and Choirs. We want the Proms to be for everyone, with 2027 being a special year as we celebrate 100 years of the BBC running the festival, and this is reflected in all our work.

We also have huge range in what we present with our Orchestras and Choirs. You would be working on the concert programmes for the BBC Symphony Orchestra concert season at the Barbican, the BBC Philharmonic’s season at Bridgewater Hall and concerts given by the BBC Singers and BBC Concert Orchestra across the UK.
